The name Blkpawn reflects transformation.
In chess, the pawn may begin as the smallest piece on the board, but it carries the potential to become something greater when it continues forward.
That idea reflects the stories we want to publish: stories about growth, perseverance, faith, transformation, and discovering what is possible when you keep moving.

Ki Paschal — Founder & Publisher
Ki Paschal founded Blkpawn Publishing with a desire to create meaningful books and experiences centered on faith, family, and purpose.
As an author, publisher, strategist, and lifelong problem solver, Ki approaches publishing as more than producing a book. His focus is on understanding the experience a story is meant to create, the audience it is meant to serve, and the impact it can have beyond the page.
Blkpawn Publishing continues to grow around that philosophy: develop meaningful stories, create excellent reader experiences, and help good ideas become work that matters.
